The Gareth Ashton Bathroom Collection is a total-look for the bathroom, consisting of tapware and mixers, showers, accessories, baths and basins. Each item has been designed to complement our extensive tapware designs that consists of the Poco K, Poco, Madison Avenue, Lucia and Park Avenue ranges.
New to the range is the Gareth Ashton 304 Basin Collection. The bathroom sink range consists of modern metallic basins in four finishes – Stainless Steel, Black Pearl, Artisan Copper and Eureka Gold.
The high-end finish on each is obtained using a unique 3-stage process resulting in a hard-wearing surface that is outlined below:
The first stage involves shot peening the stainless steel surface to create a harder and more durable surface that is both scratch-resistant and impact-resistant. The mixed material mico-beads are fired into the stainless steel surface causing plastic deformation and hence compressive stress in the material.
Next, the bathroom sinks are given a PVD coating. Titanium Oxide Coating is a vapour deposition technique where solid titanium metal is vaporized in a high vacuum environment and deposited on the sink surface as a pure metal coating. The process transfers the titanium at a molecule level providing an extremely hard-wearing coloured layer.
Finally, a nano-resin layer of hydrophobic active substance provides long lasting, ultra-thin protection and a durable easy to clean surface effect.
Each of the 304 basin finishes is available in a variety of countertop options to meet any design requirement. The larger rectangular bathroom basin measures L500xW350xH130mm. This spacious size functions well for those who use their basin rectangular for shaving and do not like water spills. The round bathroom basin is an elegant size of D406mmxH130mm. It is perfectly proportioned to still provide plenty of bench space. The smaller rectangular option of L400xW350xD130mm is ideal for the double vanity design.
To compliment each of the basin finishes and shapes, each comes with a matching pop-up plug and waste. The pop-up waste not only matches perfectly it is also easy to use. To further enhance the metallic look.
