The classic farmhouse sink comes in either a ceramic or fireclay finish. With a generous size and deep depth, farmhouse sinks are a must for any home with a rustic country design. Along with our existing range of stainless steel sinks, our farmhouse range includes brands like Chambord.

Chambord Fireclay Sinks

Created in a rustic French style, Chambord is an authentic French craft house brand that manufactures traditional, hand-finished ceramic sinks. Known for their in-depth manufacturing process, the Chambord sink range is available in both double and single bowl options.

Types of Farmhouse Sink Materials

Fireclay and porcelain are the two main farmhouse sink materials. Both similar in appearance, they have some differences in the way they’re made: Fireclay sinks: Are fired at higher temperatures that results in a product where straighter lines can be created for square or rectangular sinks. Our farmhouse sinks in the Chambord range are manufactured using fireclay. The product is also non-porous and its durability make them easy to clean and long lasting. Porcelain sinks: Are mainly used in the production of basins. Porcelain sinks are manufactured at lower temperatures than fireclay, so it is more difficult for straighter lines to be created on square or rectangular shaped sinks. Porcelain is non-porous and also easy to clean, making them a great choice for families.
