Steamed Chocolate Cake

180gms Butter
180g Self raising flour
200gms Castor Sugar
200gms Evaporated Milk
50gms Dutch Cocoa
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Heat butter, sugar, milk and vanilla in a saucepan, over a low heat until all the sugar has dissolved.

Sift flour and cocoa into a large mixing bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and then add the cooled butter mix.

Add this mixture to the flour and cocoa and whisk into a well combined batter.

Poor the batter in to a lined 20cmx20cm cake tin and cover lightly with foil.
Steam @100 degrees for 90 minutes.

Can be served warm or cool. Make sure cake is completely cooled before icing.
